What is Edarbi?

Edarbi (azilsartan) is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (sometimes called an ARB). Azilsartan keeps blood vessels from narrowing, which lowers blood pressure and improves blood flow.

Edarbi is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).

Your doctor may prescribe other medicines for you to take along with Edarbi to treat your high blood pressure.

Warnings

Do not use Edarbi if you are pregnant.

服用前に

アジルサルタンにアレルギーがある場合は、イダービを使用するべきではありません。

糖尿病の方は、アジルサルタンとアリスキレンを含む薬（アムターナイド、テクターナ、テカムロ、バルターナ）を併用しないでください。

また、腎臓病の方は、アリスキレンとイダルビの服用を避ける必要がある場合があります。

この薬があなたにとって安全であることを確認するために、以下の場合は医師に伝えてください：

• 電解質の不均衡（血液中のカリウムやマグネシウムのレベルが低いなど）;

• うっ血性心不全; or

• 低塩分の食事をしている場合。

妊娠したらすぐに、イダルビの使用停止および医師に伝えてください。 アジルサルタンは、妊娠第2期または第3期に薬を服用すると、胎児に傷害または死亡を引き起こす可能性があります。

アジルサルタンが母乳に移行するかどうか、授乳中の赤ちゃんに害を及ぼす可能性があるかどうかは分かっていません。

イダービは18歳未満の方の使用は許可されていません。

イダービの服用方法

イダービは医師の処方通り正確に服用してください。 処方箋のラベルに記載されている指示をすべて守ってください。 医師は、あなたが最良の結果を得ることを確認するために、時々あなたの用量を変更することがあります。

イダービは、食事の有無にかかわらず服用できます。

血圧は頻繁にチェックする必要があります。

気分が良くても、指示通りにこの薬を使い続けてください。 高血圧には症状がないことが多いです。

この薬を服用している間は、血圧が非常に低くなることがあります。

嘔吐や下痢などの体調不良、いつもより汗をかく場合は医師に連絡してください。

湿気、熱、光を避け、室温で元の容器に保管してください。

服用方法

高血圧に対する成人の通常用量：

初期用量：80mg、1日1回経口投与します。
維持量：1日1回80mg経口投与

飲み忘れたらどうするか

飲み忘れた分は思い出したらすぐに飲んでください。 次の服用の時間が迫っている場合は、飲み忘れをスキップしてください。

過剰摂取するとどうなりますか？

緊急医療措置を受けるか、ポイズン・ヘルプ・ライン（1-800-222-1222）に電話してください。

避けるべきこと

イダービ服用中は、医師の指示がない限り、カリウムサプリメントや食塩代替品を使用しないでください。

座ったり横になっている状態から急に立ち上がらないようにしましょう。

エダービの副作用

エダービに対するアレルギー反応として、じんましん、呼吸困難、顔や唇、舌、喉の腫れなどの症状がある場合は、緊急に医療機関を受診してください。

Call your doctor at once if you have:

• painful or difficult urination;

• little or no urination;

• feeling tired or short of breath;

• a light-headed feeling, like you might pass out; or

• swelling in your feet or ankles.

Common Edarbi side effects may include:

• diarrhea.

What other drugs will affect Edarbi?

Tell your doctor about all medicines you use, and those you start or stop using during your treatment with Edarbi, especially:

• lithium

• a diuretic or “water pill”;

• any other heart or blood pressure medications; or

• NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) – aspirin, ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin), naproxen (Aleve), celecoxib, diclofenac, indomethacin, meloxicam, and others.
